Does Immortals of Aveum have multiplayer?

A magical FPS online experience sounds exciting.

Is Immortals of Aveum multiplayer?

Blending magical abilities and a first-person shooter into a game sounds riveting, and an intriguing Immortals of Aveum multiplayer mode would make all the sense in the world. Many similar games have also brought in horde modes like those found in the Gears of War series (I’m looking at you, Mass Effect 3…sigh). Are there any Immortals of Aveum multiplayer modes to suit this audience’s fancy? Nope!

Can you play any Immortals of Aveum multiplayer modes?

There are no Immortals of Aveum multiplayer modes available.

Additionally, you won’t be able to unlock a co-op mode after beating the campaign, unlike Marvel’s AvengersImmortals of Aveum is strictly a single player game that takes you around 10 hours to beat. You can see evidence of this in the picture above. This may make the game less worthy of its full price of $69.99 depending on your view. But if you’re dying for more single player games without potential fluff, this could be for you.

Will there be any co-op DLC?

EA on its official Q&A for Immortals of Aveum makes it somewhat clear that DLC is not arriving for the game. It says the developer “Ascendant Studios is fully focused on delivering an innovative single-player, first-person magic shooter that will provide dozens of hours of gameplay at launch” under the question of DLC. Thankfully, there are no microtransactions or purchasable power-ups in the game.

With no DLC on the horizon, it seems like, it’s unlikely we’ll get a multiplayer mode expansion to this magic-based FPS. It seems to be a shame. If you want an unusual FPS that lets you control something other than a gun, check out Overwatch 2. It has unique abilities and weapons for its heroes. Reinhardt, for example, swings a giant hammer, while Genji throws ninja star and deflects shots with his shield. It’s close enough!
