Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon PC requirements

Armored Core VI PC requirements

Armored Core 6 has a ton of intense mech action in store for us, so PC players will want to make sure their system meets the requirements. Since this is a current-generation game, you may need to upgrade your setup to play From Software’s next grand title. For example, the game requires 12GB of RAM for its minimum requirements. Most games before used 8GB minimum, so it may be time to inspect the Armored Core 6 PC requirements for yourself.

The Armored Core 6 PC requirements you’ll need

Thankfully, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have provided the minimum specs on Steam you’ll need. They include:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8600K or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960, 4 GB or AMD Radeon RX 480, 4 GB or Intel Arc A380, 6 GB
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 65 GB available space

Considering these are the minimum requirements, some of the specs are relatively expensive to match. For example, a minimum graphics card like the AMD Radeon RX 480 costs around $149.99 for the refurbished model on Newegg. You’ll also need 65 GB of space, which is mercifully lower than most triple-A games of this era. Starfieldfor example, takes a huge 125GB from your hard drive.

What are the recommended specs?

Strangely, From Software and Bandai Namco have not confirmed any recommended specs for Armored Core VI on PC. It’s odd because both the minimum and recommended PC parts are usually listed at the same time. We’ll update this post if we receive more information.

While we wait, go check out our detailed preview on Armored Core 6. And if all else fails, check out what the developers have said about playing Armored Core VI on the Steam Deck.
