TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning everyone! It's that lovely time of the week! It's Friday!

The week was weird in that it went fast and slow at the same damn time. We made it at least. Nothing to crazy happened other then that I finally, after the 3rd attempt over the years, have beaten Alan Wake from start to finish. What a weird ride that was. I mostly enjoyed it! Though, I couldn't help but notice how many times your weapons and equipment is taken away from you...That's honestly gotta be some kind of record. Alan blinks and he's missing his shotgun lol Spooky atmosphere was fantastic and even though it was weird, the story and how it was told was entertaining.

I survived the Twilight series. Neeeever doing that again lol 1st movie was beyond awful. 5th was my favorite but yeah, I still didn't enjoy it. Just had a few moments where I didn't want to play in traffic. Jacob and his wolf buddies were the best thing about all of them. We're going to watch the 3rd season of The Witcher before I make her watch 5 movies she may enjoy or hate haha.

No big plans this weekend. The next two weekends are going to be busy with family stuff, including a trip to Iowa to see my sister which I'm excited for. Also nervous about. It'll be nice but I'm definitely used to not living close to family now. I need my alone time and going 4 days without is always difficult for me. I'm just being a baby haha.
