It's just too hot in my room. So just a small update today for the credits theme in Sonic The Hedgehog 3 from 1994:

Usually, this song is mostly associated with Michael Jacksons "Stranger in Moscow" from 1996 because he supposedly brought in some of his composers and of course there is some tonal similarity:

Nevertheless, the general tonal sequence can already be found in comparable form in 70s rock music:
