#35 Game beaten in 2023 is: No More Heroes 2 Desperate Struggle. A lot better than the 1st one mainly due to scrapping the sandbox element which wasn't good. This sequel is crazier, more beautiful, and overall offers a better experience. 4/5. Had a blast.

#34 Game beaten in 2023 is: Celeste. Now I get why this game made such an impact. I'm a weirdo who always makes mistakes, and to play a game that encourages you to keep trying no matter what, is welcomed. A triumph on tackling depression storywise 4.5/5.

Sorry for posting something about work here but I really wanted to share this activity I designed. One student finally finished an English tutoring course I began two years ago, and I'm happy about that. Also, games, movies and TV shows had to be included

#33 Game beaten in 2023 is: Star Fox Adventures. Trophy/Achievement unlocked: I got passed my hate towards this game to fully appreciate it for what it is. Easily of the best platformers I have played. Rare as its best. 5/5. Top Star Fox games list below:

As long as Qtoid exists, I'll be sharing over here as well as in the newfound house for us: Cohost. It has been a new experience, and still getting the hang of it, but to have a social, toxic free place to post is appreciated. Happy 4th, everyone. Be safe

#11 Movie of 2023 is: 'Are you there God? It's me Margaret'. Had been reading about it for some time due to how good it is, and yes, it's good. Tackling well known themes (religion, puberty) with rawness and a refreshing approach makes it worthwhile. 5/5

#32 Game beaten in 2023 is: Mario & Luigi Partners in Time. The GBA classic was already good, but this sequel improves almost everything up to 11. Rich platforming. Neat level design. Wonderful production values. 4.5/5. On to Bowser's Inside Story next.

Took the time today to follow some of you guys on cohost. I still need to keep on searching for all of you guys, you know, copying and pasting your usernames over there.

Last night I started backing up the few blogs I have here, as this situation happened in the past as well at other site. Also, I dreamt that we cannot longer access Qtoid so, here is my Cohost: https://cohost.org/Exber

I'm shocked. Chris fired? As many of us have been saying: we are with you, man. Many of us have posted today (and will continue to do so) in response of this sudden decision so it goes to show you're more than loved here.

#31 Game beaten in 2023 is: Heavenly Sword. I went with zero expectations as I only wanted to experience something new, but I can't say I had a good time. Sure, lots of great ideas, but the execution, technical hiccups, and script aren't good. 1.5/5.

Sometimes I think I can get annoying by talking about video games that tackle depression, but I can't ignore the fact that Celeste handles it beautifully. Seriously, this is currently my anger management. Playing it after a long week of work is everything

Me during the Direct: "Better be good, I'm going to be late for work watching this... Damn right this is good!" A remake of Super Mario RPG? Geno? GENO!? Arkham Trilogy? And a new 2D Super Mario Game? Good thing work is going well, as I'm buying a Switch.

New blog is up. This time I wrote about fourth-numbered sequels and how I think they're important for the series they belong to. It's something short, but that I wanted to write for a while. Pic related to FFIV. Link in the comments. BUMP due to a mistake

#10 Movie of 2023 is: The Flash. I have to say: this is good. DC previous film Shazam wasn't, so I went to this one expecting nothing and came out happy. Ezra Miller nailed the character, and the world building is top notch. 4.5 stars out of 5.

#9 Movie of 2023 is: Fast X. Right off the bat: half a star out of 5. Good were the times when F&F was decent, but oh boy the special effects are really questionable, let alone the script where everyone dies and then resurrects. At least I laughed.

#8 Movie of 2023 is: Blackberry. 2023 is shaping up to be one to remember in regards of biographical movies. 'Tetris', 'Air', and now this. With a bit of dark humor here and there, both powerful performances by the 2 leads, this rocks. 5 stars out of 5.

#7 Movie of 2023 is: John Wick 4. I'm not a fan of action movies, yet this series' production design had me watching them all. Would say I'm happy it's over but the movies will continue. Keanu Reeves enjoys the part, and that's great. 3.5 stars out of 5.

#30 Game beaten in 2023 is: Paper Mario TTYD. Unpopular opinion: this is Paper Mario 64 all over again with better processing power to show off the beauty of the series. Enjoyable to an extent as the intense backtracking wasn't all that necessary. 3.5/5.

#29 Game beaten in 2023 is: Resistance Fall of Man. This sudden urge to play those PS3 games that are still stuck on said system has been interesting. Resistance has this thing that hooked me right away. Already want to try the series. 4/5.

Best games I've played so far this 2023. Quick thoughts from left to right. 1) An anti-war game that hits hard. 2) A+ on game design. 3) A fable made into a game? Yes. 4) An addictive spin-off. 5) Masochism delight. 6) Getting lost never felt so good.

#28 Game beaten in 2023 is: Scarface. Being the movie one of my favorites of all time, I wanted to try this out. My first GTA like experience and one I had fun with, just like my brother did years ago when I helped him finish it. Loved the soundtrack. 4/5

#6 Movie of 2023 is: AIR. I only knew Michael Jordan was famous and appeared in Space Jam (1996). Also, I knew nothing about the whole Nike thing. However the movie script, pacing, and performances can be enjoyed nonetheless. 4 and a half stars out of 5.

We are back! #5 and probably last game replayed (as I'm taking a break from replaying) this year is: Final Fantasy 9. Timeless excellency that's worth revisiting. Maybe I'll play it again sometime, the HD remaster, to admire this piece of art even more.

I'm currently 28 years old. Come May 10th and I'll level up.

Favorite color: green.

Favorite number: 4.

Favorite video game genre: Survival Horror. RPGs come second.

Favorite movie: 13 going on 30.

And, that's about it for now.
