As cool as this announcement is I would have been FAR more hyped without that last few seconds image with "In Development" tacked on.

This one's a special one! 1979 The Fiend sculpted by Bryan Ansell himself. It's a hideous model but I love it lol. Sculpted the base myself and it's surprisingly hard to make stalagmites...

#3 TV Show of 2023: Heartstopper (Season 2). This may be of the few out of the bunch love series out there that I'll ever watch, and the only corny one, at that. Heck, I even started 'Sex Education' out of boredom so yeah, more TV shows for me. 5/5.

So, this is the new Dtoid experience, huh. Half my page dedicated to shit that has nothing to do with the site.

Time once again for the Smash 64 combo contest.

We're going live with another Tier List stream, this time focusing on what is the best Special Stage in a Sonic game. This stream may or may not piss off Sonic fans. https://twitch.tv/virtuakazama

Almost two years to the day (12th of August 2021), Chris Carter wrote a preview article on Earthborne Rangers (a boardgame). Today, I received my copy. No, I haven't played it yet.

PSA: The Humble Store just dropped a new bundle with nearly the whole RE saga, meaning zero, all remakes (except 4, that's the 2005 version), the mainline games up to Village AND the two Revelations games for $35

The new secret game on Evercade VS (maybe EXP, too): a certain roguelike for C64. Someone mentioned it here ages ago, and I had been hoping to get to try it. I like it.

#44 Game beaten in 2023 is: Spelunky. 1000+ deaths, a lot of swearing, and laughing out of how I managed to mess it up sometimes, I can say I did enjoy this game. However, that's enough roguelikes for me to experience, at least for some time. 3.5/5.

Hello neighbor. We don't talk anywhere near as much as we should. Can I run something by you in the comments?

If you have not played Monaco, do yourself a favor and pick it up on switch because this is first time it's been on sale in years. It is one of my favorite co-op games ever. And they're working on a sequel!

New Game Complaint Department review on one of my all-time favourites and a game I won't ever shut up about, Metal Slug. Marco!

Just a quick one for today while the weather isn't scorching for once lol. Gandalf the Yellow! The stock name for this guy was white wizard aka not gandalf but I like the look of yellow robed wizards more. Soon I'll be done with this batch of old lead👌

Not gonna lie: After last night's EVO, it's safe to say that I'm proud to be part of the fighting game community. And next month will mark my 10th Anniversary since I competed in the FGC. I should make a blog about that.

#43 Game beaten in 2023 is: Pikmin. It's curious how I'm afraid of RTS, and though this was no different, I just couldn't stop playing. Beautiful and scary at the same time, Nintendo's brilliant level design shows. 521 brave pikmin were lost. 4.5/5. Gem.

Having played them both again a couple times in the past week, I think I like Metal Slug 5 more than I like Metal Slug 3. I just can't get over how much of a slog Metal Slug 3's final mission is.
