Warzone 2.0 no-recoil RPK loadout build revealed

This bad boy is laser accurate

One of the most frustrating aspects of Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 is the intense recoil and inaccuracy that many weapons have. Equipping an optic or too many attachments on a weapon will cause it to go haywire in combat. Thankfully, there are builds like a certain Warzone 2.0 no-recoil RPK loadout that can help with this.

How to create the Warzone 2.0 zero-recoil RPK class

One of the best guns in Warzone 2.0 is the RPK, which is easily the strongest light machine gun in battle royale. If you want to take this gun for a test run, what you’ll find is that it has a ton of recoil. This worsens depending on the attachments you use and how far away the enemy is.

Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 are notorious for how finicky and recoil-heavy its guns can be. Fortunately, there is a way to turn the RPK from an unwieldy mess into one of the best guns in the game. This is by removing all all of its recoil, both horizontal and vertical.

Here is the zero-recoil Warzone 2.0 RPK class you need if you want to dominate from mid-to-long-range, courtesy of popular Warzone YouTuber IceManIsaac:

  • Barrel: TAC 597 Barrel
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4
  • Laser: FFS OLE-V
  • Ammo: 7.62 High Velocity Bullets

This build focuses on reducing the recoil and increasing the stability of the RPK. In addition, the Aim OP-V4 is a solid optic attachment that lets you use the LMG semi-accurately at both mid and long-ranges. Meanwhile, the High Velocity ammunition ensures that your bullets go far, fast, and can decimate foes even through certain walls and doors.

Optional RPK loadout changes

The build from IceManIsaac is quite impressive, instantly reducing the recoil of the otherwise shaky weapon. If you’re not as confident in your gunplay abilities, this build is a great one to start with. However, there are a couple of changes I would include.

Here is my personal RPK build recommendation from our best meta loadouts, which switches out a couple of the attachments:

  • Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Optic: VLK 4.0 or Aim OP-V4
  • Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5
  • Ammo: 7.62 High Velocity Bullets

The key here is increasing the damage range and accuracy of the weapon at longer ranges. Sure, it doesn’t eliminate the recoil entirely, but it mitigates it to a solid enough position where most players should be able to work around it. I appreciate the trade-off for increased range, too.

But if you stick around with the IceManIsaac no-recoil RPK class, I recommend at least considering switching out the laser for another attachment, like the above muzzle or barrel. Lasers just aren’t as helpful due to giving away your position. Also, I suggest trying out both the Aim OP-V4 and VLK 4.0 optics to see which one works best for your playstyle preferences.
