Larian Studios’ take on the Dungeons & Dragons series is beautiful, and a Baldur’s Gate 3 photo mode would help illustrate that. You’ll want to capture and share many sights and epic clashes on social media. Also, it’s a great way to convince your friends to try out this niche RPG. Here’s everything we know about a Baldur’s Gate 3 photo mode.
A compromise for a Baldur’s Gate 3photo mode
Despite the extraordinary beauty of Baldur’s Gate 3, it does not have an official photo mode. You can’t change the lighting or add any effects like Ghost of Tsushima, for example. However, you can remove the UI in this game to take a great picture. Press F10 to hide the UI and then zoom in or out by flicking the scroll wheel. Unfortunately, you can’t hide party members, but if you get the right angle, you can get a nice shot. There is a faint outline around the characters, but it’s not too distracting.
Additionally, you can hide the UI and subtitles during cutscenes. Just press F10 again to remove them. As you can see above, you can get some lovely pictures of your party’s pet dog or your companions.
Are there any fan-made mods for a Baldur’s Gate 3 photo mode?
At the time of writing, there isn’t a fan-made photo mode mod out there yet. However, it’s currently being worked on. Modder Otis_Inf reportedly has a photo mode available through their Patreon page. They also have a depth of field feature within Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s around $5 a month to unlock it. They’ve previously made photo mode mods for Elden Ring and Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.
