Will Honkai Star Rail be released on PS4 and PS5?

Honkai Star Rail PS4

Playing on the system of your choice

A Honkai Star Rail PS4 and PS5 port is expected as developer HoYoverse’s other grand RPG Genshin Impact is on the platform. This game available on consoles would make it more accessible for those on a budget (and don’t want to play the game with touch controls). Here’s everything we know about Honkai Star Rail on PS4 and PS5

Will there be a Honkai Star Rail PS4 or PS5 port?

Currently, Honkai Star Rail is only available on PC and mobile devices. However, the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game are coming soon. Honkai Star Rail is described as an experience for both of these systems on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel. Unfortunately, no release date has been shared by HoYoverse, but it’s likely within this year. I bet it’s within a few months.

“Honkai: Star Rail will launch on PlayStation in the near future,” said Lead Programmer Yang Yu on the PlayStation Blog. “We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who is supporting Honkai: Star Rail.”

Does Honkai Star Rail have cross-save?

Yes, Honkai: Star Rail has cross-save on PC and mobile as of launch. This cross-save feature is amazing, but you need to be logged into the same HoYoverse account when the console version does release. You can even use either a PlayStation or Xbox controller with the PC version (but not the mobile port just yet).

No official word has been given on whether the PlayStation versions of Honkai: Star Rail will also have cross-save. Honkai: Star Rail will hopefully have cross-save functionality on PlayStation systems, like Genshin Impact. But that feature wasn’t added to Genshin Impact until Version 2.0 on July 21, 2021, so it’s unclear whether Honkai could have it at the console version’s launch or later.
