TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's Friday! It took too long to get here but it's here so I'm going to enjoy it. Just gotta get through the rest of my work day and then relax kinda and enjoy the weekend haha. This week dragged. Work was fine but annoying. Just glad the week is over honestly.

Those weeds I pulled last weekend? We got through half of them lol The other half we're doing on Sunday. Saturday we're going bowling with the gf's sister and her kids to celebrate a b-day so that will be fun. I'm not great at it but I get a stirke or two every game so it's fun enough haha. Other then that, just relax as much as I can and enjoy my time off work.

As for gaming, the gf talked up Hogwarts so I put Forbidden West on hold and started a new game there. I'm only a few hours in but it's interesting so far. Tons of customization options which is pretty cool. I'm also playing Black Mesa which is my first Half-Life experience so that's been interesting. Trying to remind myself that it's a remake of a game from 1998 to keep my expectations in check. If I played it back then, I'm sure I'd love it just as much as I do the original Deus Ex. Playing it now, I enjoy it but not loving it. I will be playing Half-Life 2 right after I'm done with it though to finally see what all the hype is about.
