TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Fridaaay!

Happy it is too because it's been one of those weeks where you know you're doing a lot of work but feel like you're not being as productive as you need to be. Hate that feeling but oh well. It's Friday. Do what I can today and not going to let it ruin my weekend.

Beat Ghostwire: Tokyo and I mostly loved it! It's definitely not perfect and has plenty of areas it can improve on but for a first attempt on a new IP? I thin they did a great job. There's something special about exploring a ghost town Tokyo filled with haunting spirits trying to kill you. I tried a bunch of other games on PS plus but couldn't get into any of them so I FINALLY started Horizon Forbidden West. I'm only a few hours in so far but I am enjoying it. I'm just waiting for the game to actually open up and let me go where I wanna go cause that's when the true beauty in these types of games comes out.

No big weekend plans. Going to try to get some stuff done around the house. Still gotta tackle the weeds causing choas in my backyard. Not looking forward to that but its gotta be done. Other then that, chill with the family and enjoy the weekend.
