TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Fridaaay!

Feels like I was just writing this sooo that works for me! Been busy with work which is still going good minus the normal work related bs that everyone deals with. The gf got a new job and is starting in a little over a week so we're both excited for that. I've been busy all week with the Resident Evil 4 Remake. All the old, jaded fucks can complain about it not being needed but I'm glad Capcom did it. Just like the recent Dead Space remake, definitely didn't need to happen but it's the best version of an already great game and I really enjoyed my time with it. Now hopefully they listen and either remake Code Veronica so I can finally beat that one or even revisit the first amazing game. Running through that terrifying mansion with controls like the last 3 remakes sounds great and I'm all for it.

No plans this weekend. We're just going to relax and maybe get some chores done around the house. It's been raining a lot here recently which is surprising but it has also caused a lot of annoying weeds to grow in our yard. Definitely need to take care of that. We also watched M3gan last night and it was fun. Definitely not great, but creepy and another good reminder why we need to stop with the AI nonsense before we go full blown Skynet lol
