TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's already that lovely time of the week! It's Friday!

Work is going good. Have about a million meetings today which is kinda annoying but it is what it is. Just happy the week flew by. Yesterday I didn't even realize it was Thursday so I'm all for it. Especailly since The Last of Us is so close to relasing on HBO Max! Hyped! Happy to see most reviews have been positive for it so far as well.

Taking the gf's father out to eat for his b-day. He's helped us out a lot with the gardening and other stuff around the house so we want to show him some appreciation. Going to get some good Mexican food and we're all looking forward to it. Other then that, chores, relax and possibly catch a movie this weekend.

Picked Chrono Cross back up and still loving it but still annoyed it's just a glorified port. They really should have taken some time to polish the experince up a bit more but oh well. Still just happy we're able to play it on modern platforms now. Waiting for Monster Hunter Rise to drop of Game Pass soon so I can finally try that out. We've also got Dead Space dropping soon!
